Brief overview of new features:

• Backup / Restore – Your data can now be backed or restored directly from within Roadworthy Logbook.
• Workshop compliance audit / report – Your internal audit checklist can now be performed and displayed or printed whenever required.
• Workshop jobs now include status so that they can be hidden from the main list once completed.
• Improvements to search options – Search for inspections with complaints, for workshop jobs or roadworthy inspections.
• Option to save and run the database from a different location – Store your database on an external hard drive or network location.

Brief overview of new features:

• Workshop jobs – Now you can also track information and photos on your standard workshop jobs. These are not included as part of the compliance reports and can be converted to a roadworthy inspection at any time.
• Improved image import – Image thumbnails now load much quicker.
• Build date now included as part of vehicle details.
• Increased the allowed note length of all inspection notes.
• Added option to enable/disable auto load of import when USB drive detected.

Brief overview of new features:

• New body types – truck types, bus, motorcycle etc
• Ability to copy an inspection – If you have made a mistake on a certificate you can now easily copy all the inspection information to a new certificate.
• Added odometer reading for second inspection
• Ability to override image size requirement – Vic Roads requires you have at least 5mp photos but you can now add smaller images as well
• Improved image import
• Added option to include customer complaints against inspections
• Improved compliance report to better represent Vic Roads statement
• New toolbar icon to print out inspection details

1. Locate your inspection in the list and bring up the inspection details
2. Switch the outcome of the first inspection to ‘Mistake’ and click OK.
3. Locate the inspection in the list and right click and select ‘New Inspection from Selected’.  This will copy all the information from that inspection and create an inspection with a new certificate number.

From v2 you can now do this directly from within Roadworthy Logbook:

1. Open Roadworthy Logbook.  Click File | Backup.

   

2. Select a folder to store the backup in.  Eg. an USB drive.

   

3. Click ‘Make New Folder’ to give the backup it’s own folder.  If you have previously backed up your inspections select the previous backup folder.
4. Click OK to start the backup.

Major new features:

• Mechanic Management – Add or remove mechanics and set their name, contact details and qualifications
• Added the ability to remove images from an inspection
• Removed the required number of images error when passing an inspection and replaced with an override option.
